Extras

Calendars, contacts, and the World Clock appear in the Extras menu. The Screen Lock allows you to choose a four-digit combination and protect your iPod from prying eyes. If you forget your combination, reset it when you next sync. Use the built-in Stopwatch to record your best times. The Extras menu also lists all your games, those you buy from iTunes.

Search

With up to 20,000 songs5 on your iPod, you need an easy way to search and enjoy your collection. The new, built-in search function lets you use the Click Wheel to type out the name of the song, artist, album, audiobook, or podcast you’re looking for, and your iPod returns results instantly as you select letters.
